Dear Friend,
I'm wondering what links to "Cowboy" life and ways Al Aronowitz might have? In recent years he wears a Western Shirt and Cowboy hat. Is this a long term thing
with him? He sure seems like a swell fellow and lately I've become interested in
Jewish folk who find themselves cross-pollenating with Cowboy ways and lore.
Whether it's a large, visible kinship (i.e. Ramblin' Jack Elliott & his hat, songs and
rodeo days) or just a person who likes the clothes, I'm interested.
Is it possible for me to contact Al?
So you'll know a little about me. I'm Cindy Kelly, a singer-songwriter and I really
enjoy learning things about people and places. I grew up something of a cowgirl
around horses, cattle and the like, but found I had a good bit of broad-minded hippie
intertwined. I'm attaching a bio and photo.

Dear contributor of the book of hope and the world healing book
I haven't written to you for a long time. i moved to the other end of the world to a fair and beautiful
land where people have plenty of smiles and dolphins play in the bays around it i am thankful for having spend time here
but destiny pulls me back to my little old island at the other edge of the world
and so i am moving again now all of this moving has of course distracted me from my
dreams and projects. however in the larger picture it has added a new dimension to
my life that has yet to be understood or seen clearly.
As i am shaping and molding this new year i just want you to know that i am still committed to the
anthologies.
After talking to Larry Jaffe about ways to promote them further in the US we came up with this informal plan of action. The focus
is on doing it at various venues in California in September/October this year. Larry is going to set up the venues and thus it is important
for him to know if any of you would be interested in performing in California. I don't have a structure yet as it will shape with the amount
of people that are willing to perform. But it can be a tour that spans all of California or only the
cluster that is SF, LA and SD. I know some of you have expressed interest a long time ago to
do CA but that was a long time ago. I will travel to CA to help Larry and to everything i can to
promote the books while i am there.

I just read your article "Lets 'ave a larf!" for the first time. First of all,
congratulations on playing a part in shaping the history of rock music. Secondly, I know you knew Bob Dylan. I've
recently started listening to him seriously, and I was wondering if you could give me any and
all biographical information you have on him. I'm not looking for generic information or facts,
just anecdotes, subjective opinion (that seems to be the only kind of opinion one can have on
Dylan), and anything you could tell me. This is not for a project or anything, I'm just deeply
curious as to what he's like personally, or was like. For example, you mentioned he treated
everyone poorly... I've heard this before, but how so? What is his relationship with women
like? Is it radically different from the way he portrays them in his songs? Do you think the fact
he is elusive and oblique is a factor in the reverence people have for him? I would be very
grateful if you could write back with any information. Keep up the good work,

Mr. Aronowitz,
Out of the blue, I decided to do a google search for Cantor Hillel Sadowitz. It was
just one of those strange thoughts that run through your head and you never really
understand why. I came up with your touching article.
Cantor Sadowitz was my Hebrew school teacher and the Cantor at my Bar Mitzvah in
1966 at Temple Israel.
Cantor Sadowitz and I were good friends (as good as a 13 year old and a teacher can
be).
I am sorry to hear about his passing. He will be remembered by many.
