usually great stuff Al. did i tell you that as soon as i put this poem on my
site i got a visit from the DOD. i often have a look at what servers are looking
at my site and there dod was one day after i posted this poem on my site. big
brother is watching and i am sure they are scanning your site as well and it is
good. perhaps it will open their eyes just a little bit. perhaps it will stir
some consciousness. somewhere deep down there has to be soul there somewhere.
they seem to scan all sites that mention Iraq, afghanistan and the two towers
your
site is my all time favorite to keep track on political artistic movement in da
world. hey by the way i know how your financial situation is and even though
mine is bleak i want to give you a little gift so can you send me your snail
mail? i have perhaps never told you but i consider you one of the heros of our
world
with
joy as always

is with great sadness that I announce the passing of bluegrass & country
music legend JIM McREYNOLDS, of Jim & Jesse fame, on December 31st, 2002.
Jim was an astounding high harmony vocalist, right up there with Ira
Louvin. 1997
Jim
had just suffered the loss of his wife during Christmas, so this must be an
especially hard blow for his loved ones. Our prayers are with brother Jesse
McReynolds & the rest of the family during this sad holiday season, & we
ask that you please keep them in your thoughts. ##

seems to be wondering why Muslim terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.

see now . . No beer, No booze, No bars, No television, No cheerleaders,
No baseball, No football, No
basketball, No hockey, No golf,
No tailgate parties, No
Hooters, No hot dogs, No burgers,
or even frozen fish sticks. Rags for clothes and towels for hats. Constant
wailing from the guy next door because he's sick and there are no doctors.
Constant wailing from the guy in the tower. No chocolate chip cookies, No
Chanukah. You can't shave, Your wife can't shave, You can't shower to wash off
the smell of donkey cooked over burning camel dung. The women have to wear baggy
dresses and veils at all times. Your bride is picked by someone else. She smells
just like your donkey. But your donkey has a better disposition. Then they tell
you that when you die it all gets better! No mystery here.

Mass in Reykjavik its rainin rainin rainin i step into a record job and hear the
news JOE STRUMMER IS GONE-DIED IN HIS SLEEP!!!....my oh my the memories start to
fly...my 1st visit to London Jan.80...bought the double lp CLASH - LONDON
CALLING and cant begin to describe the kick i got out of hearing ( still do!!! )
the songs - Guns of Brixton , London Calling, Caddilac and ooooooweeeee!!! The
Clampdown! :) These songs This Power made my heart beat faster , blood run hot
& spirit fly high! At the time i was pumpin guitar fire in the engine room
of a new Icelandic group UTANGARSMENN and in many ways musically/lyrically we
were very much related to Clash in Spirit so perhaps it was no coincidance (
nothing ever is ) that The Clash & Utangar smenn joined forces the summer of
80 for a Great Concert at Laugardalshll in Reykjavik , Iceland.
What
can i say about the cat who sang STRAIGHT TO HELL, THIS IS ENGLAND...played with
THE POQUES...produced the beautifull Pogues song SUMMER IN SIAM & So Much
More......i clasp hands, bow down , wish Joe Strummer a good journey and send my
love out to his friends , fans & family...kindred spirits everywhere...Play
On!
