EMBRACE ISLAM OR DIE!
Although
I hate American imperialism as much as anyone else and although I consider
George W. Bush to be Dumb Dumbya, an unelected and fraudulent President who
stole the election through unconstitutional Right-Wing manipulations and
although I am essentially a cowardly pacifist who doesn't believe in war and
although I've been a Left-Wing sympathizer practically from birth, I feel
compelled to warn you that our Islamic fundamentalist torturers are determined
to keep terrorizing America until this confrontation ends up a thermonuclear
holocaust.
Their suicide
bombers'll find ways to blow up our nuclear plants, poison our drinking water,
destroy our bridges, explode our tunnels, release toxins into our atmosphere.
These madmen are determined to kill us in any and all ways that they can.
All of us. All of us who live in America. Right-wingers and
left-wingers. Blacks and Whites. Hawks and doves. Billionaires and deadbeats.
Jews and Gentiles. Hindus, Buddhists, and even Moslems. America is our house and
they want to burn it down with us all inside. They want to do to all America
what they did to the World Trade Center. It didn't matter to them that there
were Moslems in the WTC. According to the fundamentalist Islamic fairy tale, all
the Moslems who died in the attack were "collateral damage?---involuntary
martyrs for Islam.
Everyone who lives in
America is a target in the sights of these bloodthirsty cavemen. Just because
you're a peace marcher will no more exempt you from the death they plan for
you than the fact that I am a non-practicing Jew would have exempted me
from Hitler's gas chambers. But
Hitler was small fry compared to these guys. Hitler concentrated on
exterminating mainly the Jews. These guys want to exterminate all of Western
Culture.
Never before in history
has America so needed unity and brotherhood. We face an evil enemy, more brutal,
bloodthirsty and barbaric as there ever was. The egotistical Osama bin Laden
obviously fancies himself as a figure in Islamic history on the same scale with
Saladin or maybe even the prophet Mohammed himself. Terrorism is theater. The
destruction of the symbol of American economic dominance along with 5,000 or so
lives was drama deliberately designed to provoke a commensurately punishing
response from so self-absorbed a nation as ours.
Governed by a congress of
fools and charlatans who are so unaware and insensitive that they refused to
spend the money to guard against hijackers turning a passenger plane into a
guided missile, Americans are as guilty of gullibility as the Islamic masses.
Not only does the Arab 'street? refuse to believe the hijackers were Arabs,
but the Arabs are as passionately lustful for vengeance as we are. In other
words, like America, they can dish it out but they can't take it. The idea of
the bin Laden people was to hurt America on so grand a scale that America would
respond in kind, thereby infuriating the Moslem world. The bin Laden plan seeks
to keep ratcheting up the cycle of revenge until the entire Islamic world joins
the battle, enabling fundamentalist Islamic fanatics to take over a Moslem
country with nuclear capabilities.
We, too, are cursed with a surfeit of fundamentalists. Both on the far right and on the far left. In a world whose population will soon double, only compromise will make room for all of us. But a fundamentalist is someone who won't give an inch. Our fundamentalist far-left accuses greedy, imperialist America of having invited this terrible karma by having raped

the world. And I agree.
Yes, we had it coming to us---especially in view of the terrorism we have
practiced on others in the past.
Not only are we guilty of
an inglorious history but we also have been overly arrogant and smug. We have
let ourselves be lulled to sleep by our watchdogs, a crew of highly expensive
killer cowboys known to me as the Central Ignorance Agency. They have kept us
highly misinformed.
Yes, we had it coming to
us, but I don't agree that 5,000 or so of our lives plus the jewel of the New
York City skyline have to be sacrificed as a first installment of the payback we
owe a world we have victimized. I don't agree that we owe it to fundamentalist
Moslem extremists to passively suffer a beating like that rather than risk
inflicting "collateral damage? among innocent women and children. The 5,000
or so Americans already murdered by the terrorists were also innocent. There
were children three and four years old aboard those hijacked airliners. The
fundamentalist Islamic fanatics have declared a genocidal war against us, and in
a genocidal war there are no humanitarian concerns.
Perhaps it is because of
envy born from the assumed superiority of Western culture that Islamic
fundamentalists hate us so. They represent an element in the Moslem world that
so wants a jihad?a holy war---that they're even naming their
newborn sons "Jihad."
The problem is that our
society is so porous, Moslem terrorists posing as true-blue Americans already
infest our house like cockroaches. We've learned that the hijackers who
destroyed the World Trade Center and its inhabitants worked among us as taxi
drivers and in convenience stores. Could potential terrorists also be in our
military, in our laboratories, in our pharmaceutical industry, even in our
Division of Neurotoxicology at the National Center for Toxicological Research?
Homegrown revolutionaries
warn that terrorism strengthens imperialism, divides the people and drives them
into the arms of the Bourgeoisie, which, as a matter of course, is thus given
license to restrict civil liberties. Because of the coup that has given the
Right Wing dominance in our government, those in power in America are more
untrustworthy than ever. And there are those in the fundamentalist far left who
wouldn't put it past the expensive killer cowboys in the Central Ignorance
Agency to have themselves destroyed the WTC and its occupants. Why? Just to give
our oil-greedy leaders a reason to start a war of aggression.
Wars are usually fought
to enrich someone. There's always a bottom line and a question has been
raised. Did Osama bin Laden get 19 guys to kill themselves and some 5,000 others
because of his devotion to Islam? Or to make a killing on the Cyprus stock
market by betting against the insurance companies? He knew the insurance companies stood to suffer overwhelming
losses.
Bin laden himself is the
creation of a Central Ignorance Agency so blind-sighted that it could see only a
Soviet enemy. In effect, it was our homegrown charlatans who launched Osama on
his reverse Crusade to grab us by our throats and say:
"Embrace Islam or die, Infidel!? ##
